The Crew
When you walk through our doors, you become part of our family, After 10 years in business we’ve formed strong bonds with our community (and their pups), the people who work behind the counter, and those who sit at our tables.
We are always looking for talented people to join us!
Our little restaurant on Beacon Hill started as an idea back in 2004. After several months of traveling around Italy followed by two years in Washington DC running Obelisk restaurant, and making dough at 2Amys, we returned to our beloved Pacific Northwest and started raising funds, finding investors, and looking for a location in our neighborhood (no small feat). Several backyard fundraising parties later, and with a space secured, we spent six months building it out with the help of family, friends, neighbors and adventurous strangers. We opened our doors on July 15th, 2011.
Since that time so many remarkable folks have walked through our doors, from our dedicated staff, friendly neighbors, lots of friends, plenty of family, and even the occasional local celebrity. We are proud of the food we serve, made with love and care. We select the best produce, meats and shellfish, keep things as local as possible (unless coming directly from Italy) and creating a space for our guests to feel welcome, well-fed and happy. It's a labor of love and we can't imagine doing anything else (okay, maybe sitting in a Roman square sipping Aperol Spritzes). Thanks to everyone who has spent time with us!

“The menu is short, the dining room and back patio packed, but Bar del Corso remains one of our city’s most indispensable Italian restaurants.”
“Every bite speaks of the love and care Jerry Corso and his team lavish on the pizzas and small plates at this homespun Beacon Hill pizzeria and cucina.”

ROTATING ART
Since our inception, we have used our space to display visual art, from the popular Kimball Artwalks, to showing work by established Seattle artists, up-and-comers, and re-emerging artists. During the holidays we host artisan markets. And we have four large anchor pieces that we opened with and that come and go and the shows do. We’ve had people paint murals in our alley, and we’re always looking to have conversations about art.
If you are interested in showing with us, please get in touch!
